- Who is visiting your website?
Having a strong marketing plan shouldn't be limited to how often you mail out just listed postcards or any other type of print marketing you participate in, you also need to have a strong web presence to compliment what you are currently doing. Ask yourself if you would do business with a business that doesn't have a website. Is a business without a website a real business? In this day and age, it is certainly crucial to the success of any business and it is certainly something to think about when it comes to your marketing plans. (…)

- The SEO scam
I had the pleasure of meeting a new client today with a story and a vision that moved me. I went from being "moved" to being overwhelmed and heartbroken by what I discovered in the moments that followed. As my client and I started to discuss his website and his investment in his website, it became very clear that this man and his dream had been scammed, which happens all too often. I sobbed many times that day after my new client and friend left because I was just heartbroken that one human being would do such a thing to another human being. People are hurting and everyone needs income, but come on! There are honest ways to earn income. I wanted to stand on the rooftops and scream to everyone to beware of the wild, wild west of SEO as my business coach calls it. (…)

One of the most cost effective and simple ways to get your name, thoughts, ideas and business "out there" is to blog about it! I tell my clients that blogging about what they do and who they are will really give people a chance to get to know them and more importantly their businesses. (…)
