I'm always on the look out for a cool new marketing idea and I just found this one on my doorstep! One of the Realtors(R) in the area just dropped off a grocery bag with a flier attached to it.   The flier invited me to donate food for the holidays that would be

delivered to the local foodbank. It didn't have a "real estate marketing" advertisement on it, simply his photo, his logo and his contact information.  The "marketing" aspect of it is very subtle and it's good for the community.  It's also great marketing for Trader Joes, and I'm willing to bet they were happy to donate the bags.

How can he help but look good in the eyes of the community he wishes to sell real estate in?  The one question that will remain unanswered for a bit is…is the first of a series of marketing that Chris will do OR is this a "one trick" marketing act that will likely not get the desired results due to lack of follow through and consistency.  I'm rooting for you Chris…I haven't seen anyone consistently market to my neighborhood in years.

There isn't "one" go to Realtor(R) for my area.
