Are you willing to earn a 6 figure income…

I came across a book I have had on my shelf for a long time and never read called, The Miracle of Intention: Defining Your Success.  The title sounded The Miracle of Intentionsright up my alley, so I decided to crack it open and give it a read. I do have a goal of reading no less than 52 books in a year, I'm on track, but no better time than the present, right?  A book list is coming soon…stay tuned.  I have read some of the best books around and I am currently making a list.

I read a really profound statement in this book; "we're willing to teach and help every person who is willing to earn a six figure income". I suppose that is the real difference between the 20% who make 80%, those who are willing to earn it and those who aren't.

Are you "willing" to "earn" yourself a six figure income? Are you willing to do what it takes?   The people who are earning millions (you know…the 1%) did what it takes to achieve that in most cases.   You may be thinking…well what about those who inherit or win the lottery?   Think about it, even those who inherit had some price to pay with whatever family drama comes along with those type of fortunes. I think I may be thankful not to have those issues.

Having ALOT of money typically means taking on ALOT of responsibility.   Those who don't handle and manage the responsibility well, usually squander their fortunes away and end up broke. They didn't pay the price so they don't get to keep the "prize".  How can any person have a true appreciation for the value something they didn't earn? I truly believe that all real success comes at some sort of sacrifice, there's always some sort of price to pay.

Real estate successWith the New Year approaching and what I consider a new beginning, it's the perfect time to reflect on what any of us is willing to do to earn our success.

  • What are you committed to?
  • What do you consider success?
  • For many it isn't at all about money, what is "it" that drives you to reach your goals, whatever those goals may be?

I'd love to hear your feedback on what is most important to you and what it is that drives you to succeed.  More importantly, I would love to know if you are "willing to do what it takes" to get there.

Nadine
