Improve your marketing with only $7.70 per month

Note Card Printing
If you consider that people only get personal mail once every seven weeks…
It could be the one thing to set you apart from your competition. It certainly makes you much more "rememberable". Being remembered should be the top priority for any marketing campaign. Most people can only recall 2 people or business off the top of their head when asked, is your name or business one of them?
What if you sent the people in your database/sphere of influence a personal note from time to time? If you made a commitment to send out just two personal notes per day to the people in your database and your sphere of influence, how might it impact your business? That was a rhetorical question, I'm pretty sure you know the answer.
Your best use of time and marketing efforts is to invest in the people who already know you and like you. If I were to make an educated guess of what might be in your marketing database, I'm guessing it's no more than 200 people. If you were to send out just two personal notes per day to the people in your database, they would get approximately two to three personal notes per year. The cost in postage would only be $4.40, which is a whopping $17.60 a month invested back in to your business.
Considering most people only get ONE personal letter every seven weeks, I'd say you just might stand out a bit…or a lot!
People feel more connected and SPECIAL when someone takes the time to WRITE a personal note to touch base. Sending a personal note in the first place let's them know they matter. Combined with an email or your monthly postcard marketing reminds your sphere they are special to you, they matter enough for you write a note and you wish to earn their business.
When is the last time you received a personal note? The last one I received was from a gentlemen named Earl Rozran, he is with Office Manager for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate in Pleasanton, CA. I have a meeting with him in the morning because he sent me a personal note. I was impressed by his approach to real estate marketing and recruiting agents, his personal notes and I felt compelled to meet with him.
The one and only other person who has sent me a personal note in the last six months was Neil Clifton, a mortgage broker who I have a very high regard for. He would definitely be on my short list of mortgage brokers I would forward people to, how can I resist, he asked me to send people his way. It isn't always about the people YOU know, many times its about who the people you know… know. That's where you will find a goldmine in referrals. Send a personal note, check in and ask for referrals.
"Please let me know if there is anyone you feel I may be able help. I appreciate your referrals and will make sure to give anyone you refer my way the VIP treatment."
There is nothing that is difficult about sending out personal notes, there is nothing expensive about sending out personal notes and it is the perfect kind of real estate marketing for any agent who finds themselves on a budget.
And, think about how it may help the USPS stay in business for another year!!! The USPS could use a few more customers it seems.
