Why your business will fail unless you blog

Hate to be so blunt about it, but it is the truth.  Your business won't survive unless you have a web presence and blog about it.  Did you know that your blog CAN BE YOUR WEBSITE!  Blogging has become so advanced, that many websites which appear to be "standard HTML" websites are actually blogs.

Let's talk about why blogging is so important.  First and foremost, blogs = content.  On the World Wide Web, "content is king" and new content is really KING!  As you can see from the results of the recent study listed below, people look at blogs and read them because they are trying to get educated.  People surfing the web can't stay educated with old outdated information.  In this day and age, information changes by the minute and Google must serve up what is not only most relevant, but most recent and up to date.  Blogs often come up first in searches because they have the most up-to-date content in them.

By having a blog, much like this one, you allow your prospects and customers to "get to know you", you allow them to see a side of you and your business that a "marketing postcard" or "doorhanger" just doesn't portray.  You can say so much more in a blog than you can in any other form of marketing and you NEED to be taking advantage of it.

The best thing about having a blog is that you don't have to know HTML or any fancy programming languages, you simply set it up and "start blogging" about whatever suits your fancy!

For real estate professionals, I cannot stress the importance of a blog over a website.  A blog gives you the ability to offer a commentary about the market in your area, how the housing crisis is effecting certain markets, when is the right time to buy, what the interest rates are, programs available to first time home buyers, FHA financing, reverse mortgages, REO properties, shortsales, and more.  The opportunities are endless when you consider that you are the expert, and there are hundreds of thousands of people out there looking for information to educate themselves.  Giving them your expert opinion allows them to get to know you, open up dialog and bottom line INCREASES BUSINESS.

Before you say you don't have time….this blog has taken me approximately 10 minutes to write, because it is something I am passionate about.  If you don't have 10 minutes in your day to spare on saving your business and sharing your expertise with people who are looking for it, I can honestly tell you that it is the biggest marketing mistake you can make.  Sorry, I am only trying to help, and sometimes the truth really does hurt.  Contact PrinterBees to find out more about having a custom blog site built for you for under $500!
